“2300 Days / Years Cleansing Of The Temple” Synopsis
8 Therefore the male goat grew very great; but when he became strong, the large horn (Alexander the Great) was broken, and in place of it four
notable ones (4 Generals) came up toward the four winds of heaven.
9 And out of one of them came a little horn (Antiochus Sotor; Son
of 1 of the 4 Generals (Seleucus)) which grew exceedingly great toward
the south, toward the east, and toward the Glorious Land
(Israel). 10 And it
grew up to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of
the host and some of the stars to the ground, and trampled
them.
(Note: The following verse has 3 possible interpretations, ALL of which could be true, when viewed in both
long and short terms. The notes inserted relate to the long term vision and interrelationship with Daniel

11 He even exalted himself as high as the Prince of the host; and by him the daily sacrifices were taken away,
(( i.e. Sacrifices of PRAISE (Burnt Offerings) – Not Sacrifices for SIN (Blood) already atoned for by Jesus: See Dan. 9:27.5 Amplified in: DANIEL 9: 24-27 PROPHECY,)) and the place of His sanctuary was cast down.
12 Because
of transgression, an army was given over to the horn to
oppose the daily sacrifices (of Praise & Commitment to God); and he cast truth down to the ground.
He did all this and prospered.
13 Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking, “How long will the vision be,
concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression
of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?”
14
And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred days (2300
Prophetic Years) then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.”

THIS
WAS POSSIBLY FULFILLED WHEN SELEUCUS NICATOR (i.e. VICTOR), [One of 4 Generals succeeding Alexander
the Great, and founder of the Seleucid kingdom ruling over Israel, Syria & Mesopotamia] 1 APPOINTED HIS SON ANTIOCHUS 1ST SOTOR (the little horn) TO HIS THRONE2 IN 281 B.C. ( 281 B.C. + 2300 yr = 2018 A.D. )

Antiochus I Soter (Greek: Αντίοχος Α' Σωτήρ, i.e. Antiochus the Savior,), was a king of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire. He reigned from 281 BC - 261 BC.
2Seleucus intended to leave Asia to
his son Antiochus and content himself for the remainder of his days with the Macedonian kingdom in its old limits. He had,
however, hardly crossed into the Chersonese when he was assassinated by Ptolemy Keraunos near Lysimachia September (Feast of Trumpets to Atonement period) (281 BC).
Note: According to the Livius research, Seleucus had already appointed his son Antiochus to the throne when he invaded Lysimachus' Asian possessions in 282 B.C.
Per Encyclopedia Britannica, Seleucus’ son and successor, Antiochus I, entombed his father’s
ashes in Seleucia, and probably initiated the posthumous cult of his father, ordering his veneration as Zeus Nicator.
Interpretation #1:
281 B.C. Antiochus 1 Soter (meaning Savior) (little horn of Dan. 8:8)
took the throne and started the Seleucid Empire.
281 + 2300 Day / Years = 2018 A.D.; JUBILEE
Interpretation #2:
Antiochus Epiphanes (8th in Seleucid Empire lineage) of the little horn in Dan. 8:8 is the one who performed the “Abomination of Desolation” on the temple alter, and persecuted the Jews 2300 days from 171 B.C. to Dec. 25th
165 B.C.; at which time Judas Maccabeus restored (aka rededication) the temple to worship 75 days after the Feast
of Tabernacles – now celebrated as Hanukkah or the Feast of Dedication.

three hundred and thirty-five days"
(1335). [1290 + 45]
This
may refer to the Dome of the Rock. It appears that construction began sometime between
683 and 688 A.D.
Since
there seems to be a difference of opinion as to the date, the year 683 is chosen for the following reasons:
683 A.D. + 1290 days / years = 1973 (Yom Kippur War)
683 A.D. + 1335 days
/ years = 2018 (The “Year of Jubilee”)
i.e.
The “Millennial Kingdom”, aka the “Marriage
Supper of the Lamb”.
The 1,000 Year Reign of Christ, aka JUBILEE would then begin immediately upon the completion of the Feast
of Atonement (Tishri 10) on the Jewish Calendar year of 5,778 (2017-8?) starting the last “YEAR of JUBILEE” of that age / time.

of Prof. Todd Bolen, "the Dome of the Rock was erected by the Muslim ruler Abd el-Malik in 688-691, built atop the
earlier location of the Temple. Known in Arabic as Qubbat as-Sakhrah, it is not a mosque
of public worship but one of pilgrimage."
"The Shape of the Holy: Early Islamic Jerusalem" (1998) describes the Dome of the Rock as erected in 685 and
completed in 691.
Some have said The Dome of
the Rock, the first Muslim masterpiece, was built in 687 A.C. by Caliph Abd al-Malik,
half a century after the death of the Prophet Muhammad.
It
is important note re. use of the term MOSQUE: Per Gershom Salomon, "..the Dome of the Rock
was never built as a mosque."
Per Martin Gray, "..the Dome of the Rock is often incorrectly called the Mosque of Umar, but is an Islamic shrine
and a major landmark located on the Haram al-Sharif (Temple Mount) in Jerusalem."
