JESUS’ BIRTH DAY per
Leviticus 23 & Gospel of Luke,
Chapters 1 & 2
Jesus’
Birthday can be determined according to Luke Chapters 1 &
2 combined with knowledge of the timing for the Feasts of the Lord according to Lev. 23 and prophecies to help us to accurately
analyze when Jesus' Birthday actually occurred. The timing of Jesus' Birthday
starts with accurate determination of when John the Baptist was conceived. As stated in the book of Luke, the angel
Gabriel appeared to Zacharias, John the Baptist's father, during his performance of his priestly functions in the temple
at Jerusalem during the 10th week of the biblical year. John's Birthday consequently reveals when Jesus'
Birthday actually occurred. This determination requires knowledge of the Feasts of the Lord festivals per Leviticus
23, by application of a biblical calendar established by God starting with the first month of the year called Nissan.
Nissan starts in our Gregorian calendar month of March or April. Additional facts related to determining Jesus’
Birthday are found in Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy of when the Messiah would come. Other related
facts are found in Matthew Chapter 2 which describes the magi’s observations and reaction to Scriptural and celestial
events. The final event is Jesus’ own crucifixion and burial. This combined
knowledge helps us to accurately calculate Jesus’ Birthday by backward calculations from these events.

Luke Chapters 1 & 2 Regarding Jesus’ Birth:
Luke 1:26-27,31,35-57 & 2:1-14: “Now in the sixth
month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose
name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name [was] Mary … “And behold,
you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. The Holy Spirit will come upon
you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the
Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this
is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible." Then Mary said,
"Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her. “Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city
of Judah, and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth. And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of
Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she spoke out with a loud voice
and said, "Blessed [are] you among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of your womb! But why [is] this [granted] to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears,
the babe leaped in my womb for joy. Blessed [is] she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were
told her from the Lord." And Mary said: "My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; for behold, henceforth
all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy [is] His name. And His mercy
[is] on those who fear Him From generation to generation. He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered [the] proud
in the imagination of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from [their] thrones, and exalted [the] lowly. He has filled
[the] hungry with good things, and [the] rich He has sent away empty. He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of
[His] mercy, As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and to his seed forever."
And Mary remained with her about three months, and returned to her house.
Now Elizabeth's full time came for her to be delivered, and she
brought forth a son. Chapter 2 “And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus
that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to
be registered, everyone to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the
city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary,
his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to
be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him
in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were in the same
country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood
before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, "Do
not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this
day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this [will be] the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped
in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger." And suddenly there was with the angel
a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill
toward men!" Luke 1:26-27,31,35-57 & 2:1-14 According to Luke chapters 1 & 2,
Jesus was conceived in the biblical month of Kislev, the 9th month of the biblical calendar which we call November
or December near the 15th of the month. Nine months later, Jesus’ birth would therefore have been during
the biblical month of Tishri near the 15th day when the Feast of Tabernacles is celebrated. The month of Tishri is initiated on the
first day of the month with the Feast of Trumpets, which represents a call for repentance prior to the Feast of Atonement
10 days later on Tishri 10. This is followed by the Year of Jubilee, which commences immediately upon the close of the
Feast of Atonement on the 11th day of Tishri and, as mentioned earlier, the Feast of Tabernacles follows 4 days
later on the 15th of Tishri. More will be discussed on this topic later. Luke Excerpts: In
Luke 1:5-25, we receive the foundational information regarding John the Baptist’s conception date to therefore determine
when Jesus was conceived, at the 6th month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy.
1:26-27,31 “Now
in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose
name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name [was] Mary … “And behold, you will conceive in
your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.”
1:36 “Elizabeth
your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month...” 1:56-57 “And
Mary remained with her about three months, and then returned to her house.”
“Now Elizabeth's full time came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son.” 2:1-7
“And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world
should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. So all went to be registered, everyone
to his own city. Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is
called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was
with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth
her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the
inn.”

When Was Messiah Born? By Phillip Johnson It may come as
a surprise to some that Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) may not have been born on December 25th. So if Yeshua (Jesus)
was not born on December 25th, then why do Christians celebrate that day? It was in the
third century when the Roman Emperor Aurelan proclaimed the winter solstice, December 25th, as a feast day dedicated to the
Roman sun god, Sol. With the advent of the winter solstice, each day thereafter becomes increasingly longer. Aurelian decreed
that followers of Christ would be "allowed" to celebrate on December 25th because it was convenient to share the
Lords birthday with the Roman celebration of their sun god. So this date was determined by the Romans, not the Bible.
In fact, the Bible gives no exact date as to when the Lord was born. But it DOES leave us some incredible clues.
The truth is that there is a whole lot about the birth of Yeshua (Jesus) that you may not have been taught in church.
There are many questions that need to be answered concerning the birth of Yeshua. Can we
prove from the Scriptures that Yeshua (Jesus) was NOT born during the winter? Do the Scriptures
give us any information about when Yeshua (Jesus) actually was born? Was there a real historical
reason why the inns were full when Mary and Joseph were looking for a place to stay? Was there
a festival that was instituted by the Lord God over a thousand years before Yeshua (Jesus) was born that prophetically foreshadowed
the circumstances and timing of His birth? Why do we celebrate these festivals or Feasts
of the Lord? So what does the Bible say about when Yeshua (Jesus) was born? Why do we even care
to look into this? Luke 1:4 “My purpose is that you may know the full truth and understand
with certainty and security against error the accounts (histories) and doctrines of the faith of which you have been informed
and in which you have been orally instructed.” Most scholars agree that Yeshua
was born somewhere around the time of the Feasts of the Lord in the fall. One way to reach this conclusion is through the
story in Luke 1:5-17 where we are told about the birth of John the Baptist and from 1Chronicles 24, we read that the sons
of Aaron had been divided into 24 groups and that each group had a set schedule for serving in the Temple of God.
The division of Abijah, which Zechariah belonged to, was assigned the 8th slot
out of the 24 divisions. The Jewish calendar begins in the spring (March/April),
during the month of Nissan, so the first “division”
of priests, the division of Jehoiarib, would serve for 7 days. The second week would then be the responsibility of the division of Jedaiah, and so on. The third week would be the Feast of Unleavened Bread where all
priests would be present to serve for one week. (All priests are also to work at the Feast of Pentecost for one week.) Then
the schedule would resume with the third division of priests. This would go on until the 24th division had served, then the cycle would repeat again. From this it is possible to know when John the Baptist's father Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division
of Abijah, was serving in the Temple during the 10th week of the year. Both the Feast of Unleavened Bread and Pentecost would have occurred before this scheduled duty. Luke 1:23-24 tells
us Zechariah returned home. Elizabeth became pregnant and hid herself for five months. We also
know that six months later (Luke 1:26) the angel Gabriel visited
Mary (her real Hebrew name is Miriam) and she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. The reason this information about John
is so important is because according to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit
in the sixth month (December) of Elizabeth’s pregnancy (Luke
1:36). So starting with John’s
conception in the third biblical month of Sivan (June) of the Jewish calendar (starts March/April) and going forward 6 months, we arrive late in
the ninth month of Kislev (Nov-Dec) for the time frame of the conception of Yeshua (Jesus).
Feast of Trumpets the 5th “Appointed Time” with God initiates
the 10-day / year period of time for repentance between the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Atonement, Judgment. This 10-day
/ year period is called the “Days of Awe” and includes the 7th Sabbatical Year of 7-years unto Jubilee called the 7-year
“Tribulation Period” as part of this 10-year “End of the Age” period call for repentance before Judgment.
Feast of Atonement aka Judgment the 6th “Appointed Time” with God, then culminates immediately on the next day with the “Year
of Jubilee”, aka the “Millennial Kingdom, at which time
everything is required to be returned to it’s original owner, i.e. God; Elohim. Feast of Tabernacles the 7th “Appointed Time” with God The Feasts and Sabbaths are called "Holy Convocations" in Scripture. That is to say, they are intended to be times of meeting between God and man for "Holy Purposes".
Each Feast is also a Sabbath and reminds us of our call to a "PURSUIT Of HOLINESS" and a personal restoration with God. If you turn away your foot from the sabbath, from doing your own pleasure
on My holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your
own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
Then shall you delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isa. 58:13-14. To fully understand the Feasts, one must first understand the
full meaning and implications of the Sabbath as a time of oneness with God. See: SABBATH The Feast of Tabernacles becomes the ultimate oneness of meeting with God to “tabernacle” / dwell with God for eternity, thus the absolute
necessity to “pursue holiness”. See FEAST OF TABERNACLES web site According to the Law of Moses a child was supposed
to be circumcised on the 8th day, so if Jesus was born near the Feast of Tabernacles, which is a High Holy Day, He would have been presented
to the priest for circumcision during the Feast of Tabernacles, which is another High Holy Day. Only God could
have orchestrated this fulfillment of a feast over a thousand years later that would show His people how the messiah would
be born; in a humble stable or sukkot. Sukkot (Hebrew: סוכות or סֻכּוֹת,
sukkōt, also known as Sukkos, Succoth, Feast of Booths, Feast
of Tabernacles) is a Jewish holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the month of Tishri (late September to late October).
It is one of the three biblical pilgrim festivals, when it was traditional for Jews to visit the Temple in Jerusalem. The
holiday lasts seven days, including Chol Hamoed and is immediately followed by another festive day known as Shemini Atzeret.
The word Sukkot is the plural of the Hebrew word sukkah, meaning booth or hut. The sukkah is reminiscent
of the type of the fragile dwellings in which the ancient Israelites dwelt during their 40 years of wandering in the desert
after the Exodus from Egypt. The heavens declare the glory of God We have some amazing information from the constellation
of the stars. What cosmic event happened between 3 and 2 B.C. that would have served as a sign of
the birth of the King of the Jews? In both 3 B.C. and 2 B.C., there was a series of conjunctions that involved
the planet Jupiter.
THE MAGI, ASTRONOMY And JESUS
BIRTHDAY The
principals of Astrophysics, Mathematics and Astronomy all point towards perfection. Daniel, I believe,
was possibly one who would be considered a ‘magi’, or a wise man, who studied the stars. Scripture
states “the heavens declare His glory”. The magi interpreted Jupiter, the king of planets,
aligning with Regulus, the king of stars, and Venus the virgin, merging to become brighter in the sky, with her feet appearing
to be standing on the new moon in the morning hours. This phenomenon occurs every 12 years.
So over a 50-year career of a magi, they may have observed this phenomenon twice. In and of itself,
this may have meant nothing, but combined with Daniel’s 9:24-27 prophecy and other Scripture, such as Messiah being
born in Bethlehem, the association of Messiah with the tribe of Judah and the triple conjunction within the constellation
of Leo, a symbol for Judah, followed by the constellation of Virgo (Virgin) and Jupiter, the king of the planets, appearing
to join with Venus, the virgin, and probably many other factors associated the anticipation the King’s birth with Messiah
the King in Bethlehem. The magi presumably described the timing of events in 3 B.C. continuing through
2 B.C. as documented by Josephus regarding the reign of Herod until 2 B.C. In 3
B.C. Jupiter, the planet representing King David, was in conjunction with Regulus,
the star of kingship, in the constellation Leo the lion, considered to represent the tribe of Judah. This conjunction in the
lion would have served as a sign of the birth of a leader. First of all the Magi, the
wise men, had seen the star of the king of the Jews in the East and they came to Jerusalem to look for Him.
Secondly, the Book of Revelation, chapter 12, also speaks about a sign in the heavens connected with the birth of Messiah.
Revelation 12:1 states “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the
sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of 12 stars: and she being with child cried, travailing birth,
in pain to be delivered.” God created the stars, which include the planets, to serve
as signs. "And God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and
let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years.'" (Gen 1:4)
Psalm 19:1-4 says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of
his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There
is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends
of the world." Before the Bible was written, God had already written the Gospel story in the stars.
Well-known Radio Bible Teacher Dr. D. James Kennedy writes in his book The Real Meaning of the Zodiac that scientists
are amazed to find that every civilization in history, no matter how far back in time they go, has always referred to the
same constellation of the stars. The only reasonable explanation for this is that God taught Adam the meaning behind the stars,
which was then handed down to succeeding generations. The Book of Job, considered by many to be the
oldest book in the Bible, as well as the Book of Amos mention several star constellations by name. The Gospel message is clearly seen in the Zodiac, beginning with the constellation of Virgo, the virgin,
and ending with Leo, the King. This message was later perverted in Babylon into the reading of horoscopes to predict future
events, which God strictly condemns as demonic, occult practice. "The prophet Daniel was however at one time the chief of the magi in Babylon. Most certainly
he taught these magi the truths about the stars, which is the reason for some of them coming to Jerusalem to search for the
Messiah when He was born. After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi
from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to
worship him.'" (Mt 2:1-2) "When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had
seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was." (Mt. 2:9)
Three Bible passages with Messianic prophecies give us the explanation about the star of "the one" king of
the Jews, the Messiah that the magi had seen. The first passage is Numbers 24: 17-19.
"I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will
rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth. Edom
will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong. A ruler will come out of Jacob and destroy
the survivors of the city." The second Messianic passage is Genesis 49:8-10:
"Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father's sons will
bow down to you. You are a lion's cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like
a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness-who dares to rouse him? The
scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and
the obedience of the nations is his." The third is Psalm 110:1-4:
"The LORD says to my Lord: 'Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.'
The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies. The
LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek.'"
We see in Numbers 24 that a star, also called a scepter,
will come out from Jacob. In Genesis 49 we see that this scepter is narrowed down to come out from the tribe
of Judah, who is called a lion and in Psalm 110 we see that the Messiah will come after the order of Melchizedek, meaning
"King of Righteousness." Jupiter, called Zedek
in Hebrew and meaning 'righteous', has always been connected with the Messiah, the "Righteous One."
The brightest star in Leo, the Lion, which
is a symbol for Judah, is
Regiel, which means 'king" or Melech in Hebrew. The Magi said, "We saw his star in the east."
With the help of modern computers it is very easy today to calculate
the exact positions of the stars thousands of years back in time. What used to take years to calculate
is today available with the click of a mouse, if you have access to the right program. On
September 11, on the Feast of Trumpets, in the year 3 BC, Regiel (Melech) and Jupiter (Zedek), began to make a helical rising
together as one star, forming Melchizedek appearing between the feet of Leo (Judah), on the eastern horizon just before sunrise.
Something else also happened in the heavens that night of the Feast of Trumpets, 3 B.C. Between
6:18 and 7:39 local Jerusalem time, in the evening of September 11, just as the Feast began, Venus in Virgo was "clothed
in the sun" with the new moon under her feet, exactly as described in Revelation 12:1-5.
The prophetic imagery in Revelation 12 is that of a male child being born to rule the nations. It
pictures the dragon (Satan) attempting to destroy the child. The man child, who is Christ, is "caught
up to the throne of God." Afterwards, Satan sets his attention towards a remnant of believers. "A
great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve
stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. She
gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter." That
year the sun was in the sign of Virgo for twenty days, between August 27 and September 15, but only for about an
hour and one half; and during that time, the moon was under the feet of Virgo.
Little did they know what had just taken place a couple of miles
away. Later on that night, on September 12, Regiel It
may have occurred during the Feast of Trumpets.
This was most likely the exact time that Mary was in labor according to Revelation 12, giving birth to the Messiah
while the watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem announced and Jupiter began their helical rising before dawn
announcing that the King of the Jews was born. According to Jewish tradition Adam, who is
also called the son of God in Scripture (Luke 3:38), was created by God on the Feast of Trumpets. How fitting that the last Adam was also
born on the same day! And just as Yeshua one day will return as King with the trumpet call of God, He also came the first
time at the sound of the trumpet. The arrival of a king is usually announced with trumpets. It is amazing how exactly in detail
God fulfills His Word! What an awesome God we serve! Truly "The
heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night
after night they display knowledge." (Ps 19:1-2) Cosmic signs are only one part of the evidence
that indicates we are in the time of the end. Here is even more information declaring the wonders of our God.
The
Light of the World became flesh near Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. Hanukkah is then a very appropriate time to thank God
for sending His Son to us as the Light of the world!
Hanukkah
is the feast in memory of the rededication of the Temple. The common expression among the Jewish people during this feast
is: "A great miracle happened there!" (or "here" if you live in the land of Israel). In the midst
of that Feast a new Temple was dedicated: the body of Messiah. Truly, a great miracle happened as the sinless, holy blood
of Yeshua that was to be poured out on the cross to redeem all mankind back to God was formed by the Holy Spirit in Miriam's
womb during Hanukkah! Yeshua was born as a man and died as a man, but His conception and His resurrection are the proofs that
He is the Messiah, the Son of God. "The angel
answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” “So
the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God." (Luke 1:35) "regarding
his Son, who as to his human nature was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power
to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom 1:4) Hanukkah is a very
important feast. It is the season for divine visitations and miracles! During Hanukkah Yeshua stood in the Temple
in Jerusalem and said, "The miracles I do in
my Father's name speak for me." (John 10:25) It should not come as a surprise that the enemy wants to
distract people during this time through a frenzy of commercialism. Hanukkah is also a feast of great prophetic
significance. Gal 4:4 says, "But when the time
had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law." Without the rededication of the Temple
under the Maccabees, the story we read in Luke 2 when Yeshua was presented to the Lord in the Temple "as it is written in the Law of the Lord" could never have
happened. This had been prophesied by Haggai when he declared, "'The
glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty." (Hag
2:9) If
the Syrian king Antiochus Epiphanes had succeeded to wipe out the Jewish people's obedience to the Torah, as he tried
to do by desecrating the temple, and forbidding the Jews to keep the Sabbath and circumcising their children, Joseph and Mary
would have been pagans. Messiah could not have been born and Haggai's prophecy about the temple would never have been
fulfilled! It is the same situation today. Yeshua will also return "as
it is written in the Law of the Lord!" If the antichrist, "the lawless one," and his forces succeed to wipe out the
Jewish people and the Law of the Lord, Messiah cannot return! The Lord is calling us to pray for the Jewish people and for
the peace of Jerusalem. "This is what the LORD
says: 'Sing with joy for Jacob; shout for the foremost of the nations. Make your praises heard, and say, 'O LORD,
save your people, the remnant of Israel.'" (Jer. 31:7) If we truly want to honor God we should not celebrate
the birth of His Son, the Word that became flesh, outside the boundaries of the written Word. Yeshua is the promised seed
of David who came to His own. He is the Word that became flesh. It is time for great humility and repentance in the Church
for erring from God's ways and to acknowledge our dependence upon the Jewish people. It is part of preparing the way for
the Lord and being made ready as His bride for His return. "What
advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? Much in every way! First of all, they have
been entrusted with the very words of God. What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness?
Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar." (Rom 3:1-4) God entrusted His Word to the Jewish people.
In
separating ourselves from them, we automatically also stray from the Word of God. It is time to begin to climb down from our
church steeples and come back to the place where the anti Semitic church fathers went the wrong way and repent. Not everyone
will do it, because it will require a lot of humility. Hanukkah is the season to learn the lesson from Miriam of what is required
of us if we truly want to please God. Why do we celebrate the Feasts of the Lord? To
Obey the Lords commands: "This will be a memorial day for you; you will celebrate it as a festival
to GOD down through the generations, a fixed festival celebration to be observed always. (Exodus 12:14 message bible)
21"The person who knows my commandments
and keeps them, that's who loves me. (John 14:21) 15"If you love me, show it by doing what I've told you.
(John 14:15) Let's celebrate the Feasts of the Lord! "Prepare the Way for the LORD

Feast of Trumpets the 5th “Appointed Time” with God
initiates the 10-day / year period of time for repentance between the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Atonement,
Judgment. This 10-day / year period is called the “Days of Awe” and includes the 7th Sabbatical Year
of 7-years unto Jubilee called the 7-year “Tribulation Period” as part of this 10-year “End of the
Age” period call for repentance before Judgment. Feast of Atonement aka Judgment, the 6th “Appointed Time” with God, culminates immediately on the next day with the “Year
of Jubilee”, aka the “Millennial Kingdom. At this time everything is required
to be returned to it’s original owner, i.e. God; Elohim.
The
Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement / Judgment are on the 1st and 10th
day, of the seventh month
called Tishri. Jubilee commences on the 11th day
of Tishri. The 10-day correlation between Jesus’ ascension prior to the Feast of Pentecost with the 10
days between the Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement are significant in their culmination of biblical events.
As
the events of Jesus’ first coming culminate with the gift of the Holy Spirit at the Feast of Pentecost, so do the events
typologically represented by the Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement at Jesus’ Second Coming culminate with the year of
Jubilee (aka Millennial Kingdom). On the 40th day after His resurrection, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit;
then He ascended into Heaven. It is significant that 10 days later, this promise was fulfilled on the
50th day after His resurrection; i.e. Pentecost. The year of Jubilee is related to Jesus’
Second Coming as Pentecost was associated with His first coming. Essentially Pentecost was a typological foreshadowing of the year of Jubilee.
The
Feast of Weeks / Pentecost, the 4th and last feast Jesus fulfilled at His 1st
coming, is celebrated 50 days after Passover, on the 6th day of Sivan. Pentecost
/ Feast of Weeks is seven weeks of 7 days plus one day after the Feast of Passover. The year of Jubilee is in years
to what Pentecost is in days, i.e. 7 sabbatical years of 7 years plus one year; culminates at the year of Jubilee.
Feast of Tabernacles the 7th “Appointed Time” with God
The Feasts
and Sabbaths are called "Holy Convocations" in Scripture. That is to say, they are intended to be times of meeting between God and man for "Holy Purposes".
Each Feast is also a Sabbath, reminding us of our call to a "PURSUIT of HOLINESS" and restoration of a personal relationship with God.
If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My holy day; and call
the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor
finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
Then shall you delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isa. 58:13-14. To fully understand the Feasts, one must
first understand the full meaning and implications of the Sabbath as a time of oneness with God. See:
SABBATH The Feast
of Tabernacles becomes the ultimate oneness of meeting with God to “tabernacle” / dwell with God for eternity, thus the absolute
necessity to “pursue holiness”.
“…
regarding a Festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come …” Col.
2:16-17

YEAR OF JUBILEE Rev. 19 The
bride has prepared herself,
becoming pure & holy for her bridegroom. “…for
the marriage of the Lamb has come
and His bride has made herself ready." Revelation
19:7
To
understand the Jubilee Year, one must first be familiar with the Sabbatical Year, which is observed every seventh year (Ex.
23:11; Lev. 25:20; Deut. 15:9; Neh. 10:31). The Sabbatical Year is also known as the Year of Release, because
farming and debt payments were released (discontinued) for the year (Deut. 15:1-2; 31:10); initiated at the closing
of the Feast of Atonement. Jubilee’s timing was to years (50) what the timing of Feast of Weeks (Shavuot / Pentecost) is
to days (50). The Feast
of Weeks (Shavuot / Pentecost) occurs on the 50th
day; the day after seven weeks, plus 1 day after Passover. The Jubilee Year occurs every 50th year; the year after seven Sabbatical years (49
years) Lev. 25:8-11. The Year of Jubilee begins at the end of 7 Sabbatical years of 7 years,
and at the end of the Feast of Atonement / Yom Kippur, Lev. 25:9. Jewish historian, Josephus, believed that the word denoted
‘liberty’ (Antiquities of the Jews 3.12.3). Scripture lists three requirements for the
Year of Jubilee: - First, the shofar (ram’s horn) was to be blown at the end of the
Feast of Atonement / Yom Kippur to announce that the Jubilee Year had commenced Lev. 25:9.
- Second,
all hired workers were to be set free Lev. 25:39-54. This was unconditional liberty. All bond-slaves
were released even if the Jubilee Year came before the completion of their six years of service.
- Third,
all land was to be returned to its original owner Lev. 25:13, 23-28.
The
primary reason for the Jubilee Year was to prevent oppression in Israel, Lev. 25:14, 17. An Israelite could hire himself
into the service of another to retire a debt, but he had no right to sell himself or his family forever into slavery. The Lord alone owned the sons of Israel
since He had redeemed them out of Egypt, Lev. 25:42, 55. In similar fashion, an Israelite could lease his land for a
term of years, but he had no right to permanently sell his tribal inheritance. The
Lord alone owned the land of Israel, Lev. 25:23. God, as Sovereign King of the universe, owned the people and the land.
The
Jubilee Year, initiated at the close of the Feast of Atonement, looks to the restoration of Israel by the Messiah, and to
the resulting messianic Kingdom of peace.
Daniel
prophesied that a Gentile oppression would become unbelievably severe at the end of this age. A wicked Gentile ruler
will arise and “he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods”
Dan. 11:36. This ruler will bring terrible persecution upon Israel: “A time of trouble, such as never
was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered” Dan. 12:1.
When
Messiah comes, He will break the chains of Israel’s oppression. But this deliverance will come only when the nation
has first repented of her sin. The nation must repent (Feast of Atonement /
Yom Kippur) before the shofar will sound the release of her captivity (the Jubilee Year).
In
Messiah’s glorious day, Israel will return to the Lord and, subsequently, will no longer be bond slaves of the nations,
but the redeemed servants of the Living God. Israel’s oppression will be ended! When Messiah
comes, the great shofar will be blown, and the exiles of Israel will be regathered to their land. “So it shall
be in that day: The great trumpet / shofar will be blown; They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria,
and they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem“ Isaiah 27:13.
In
that day, satin will be banished (Ezek. 28:2,8,13-19), and the rebellion of wicked men will be crushed Ps.2:9. In that
day, the sons of Israel “shall trust in the name of the LORD” (Zeph.3:12) and “walk in the name of the LORD
our God Forever and ever” Micah 4:5. And in that day Messiah shall establish the throne of David and the messianic
Kingdom “even forever” Isaiah 9:7. Finally, in Messiah’s glorious day, there will be Jubilee
rest for the land and freedom for God’s people.
Everyone shall sit “under his vine and under his fig tree. For the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken”
Micah 4:4. The Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement / Judgment are on the 1st and 10th day, of the seventh month called Tishri. Jubilee commences on the 11th day of Tishri. The 10-day correlation between Jesus’
ascension prior to the Feast

A Biblical Calendar Year per Lev. 23 Is a Lunar (moon) Calendar 354 days long Based Upon the “FEASTS OF THE LORD” The Biblical Calendar Year for “Appointed Times” with God at His
“My Feasts” are to be kept as “Holy convocations”,“forever” is initiated by the
first sliver of a new moon, and marks the beginning of a month, which is always a sabbath, and the 1st day of the
month (even when a leap month is added) ; thereby determining when the feasts will be held per Leviticus Chapter 23.
Consequently, the feasts always fall on the same day of the week every year. See
