Celestial phenomena do not foretell events alone. Without
Scripture they are not proof; they can only proclaim and confirm Scriptural prophecies. The Apostle John’s reflection in Revelation 12:1-5 and other Scriptures (listed below) clearly
describe the celestial events proclaiming the birth of the Messiah /King occurring with Jupiter and Venus in Leo and Virgo
and then the alignments of the stars, planets and moon over Bethlehem.
Daniel 9:24-25 prophesies the coming of the Messiah: “From the time the order
was given to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the coming of Messiah the Prince would be 69 periods of seven”.
In other words, 173,880 days would pass until the Messiah would arrive. In Nehemiah 2:1,8 Artexerxes,
the king of Babylon gave that order to Nehemiah. Jesus,
having fulfilled this prophecy in 30 A.D., provides us the opportunity to jointly combine Luke chapters 1 & 2 and Daniel
9:24-25 for confirmation of the proof of Scripture. Luke chapters 1
& 2 confirm Jesus’ conception near Hanukkah (in 04 B.C.) and His birth in September (03 B.C.), 33 years prior to
His crucifixion in 30 A.D. Consequently, this also confirms the prophecy provided by Daniel the prophet.
See Jesus’ Birth Day web page for further details. STARRY NIGHT CHRONOLOGICAL EVENTS
Events that the Magi Observed During a 17-Month Period From August, 03 B.C. to December, 02 B.C. Also, part of the difficulty
is caused by disagreement among scholars about when Herod died. The commonly quoted date
for King Herod’s death is 4 B.C. Scholars writing in the first
and second centuries A.D. declared that Jesus was born between what we now call 4 B.C. and 1 B.C.
They were living much closer to the event and had access to thousands of historical records.
The Magi presumably described to Herod the timing of events starting in September
of 3 B.C. and continuing through December of 2 B.C.
4 B.C. Events: According to the book of Luke, chapters 1-2 and Leviticus 23 Feasts of the Lord, Jesus
was conceived in the biblical month of Kislev (Nov. 21-28, 04 B.C.), the ninth month of the
biblical year when Hanukkah is celebrated, during the months which we call November/December. See greater detail in Jesus’ Birthday web page. 9 months later, Jesus’ Birthday would
therefore have occurred on the biblical month of Tishri 4, 03 B.C. (Sept. 11, 03 B.C.). The
Feast of Trumpets aka Rosh Hashanah, initiates on Tishri 1 three feasts for a period of 22 days; spanning the Feasts of Trumpets,
the Feast of Atonement, culminated every 50 years with the Year of Jubilee, and then finally the Feast of Tabernacles. The month of Tishri in September/October
is initiated on the first day of the month with the Feast of Trumpets, which represents a call for repentance prior to the Feast of Atonement aka Judgment ten days later on Tishri 10. This is followed once every 50 years by the year of Jubilee which commences immediately upon the close of the Feast of Atonement on the 11th day of Tishri. Then the Feast of Tabernacles follows 4 days later on the 15th day of Tishri and celebrated for 8 days; 22 days total.
The magi, possibly having known the prophecy from Scripture combined with the celestial
displays of the 17-month period from August, 03 B.C. to December, 02 B.C. took on increased symbolic meaning to them over time. The Magi came to an increased realization That the Heavens seemed to be Declaring the Glory of God. This Culminated with their Declaration to Herod that a King - the Messiah had been Born; Born in Judea, in Bethlehem. 3 B.C. Events:
Conjunctions starting in August 03 B.C. First:
Jupiter, the King of the Planets and Venus the
mother of planets form a conjunction (#1) on August 12, 3 B.C. at 3:30 A.M. in the constellation
of Leo. Jupiter circles the Sun far beyond Earth, in an orbit of
about twelve years’ duration. In ancient
times, planets like Jupiter were considered "wandering stars." Jupiter, the king of the planets and Venus, symbol for the mother of the planets formed a conjunction in the constellation of Leo the lion (symbol for
Judah). Their combined brilliant light drew the attention of the Magi. Second: Jupiter's conjunction with Regulus (#1 of 3) occurred
between the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Atonement on September 11, 03 B.C. Regulus,
the chief star in Leo, lay practically in the path of the Sun, and was therefore
afforded the additional epithet of “Royal Star”. Here was the “King planet” now coming into contact
with the “King Star” - AND in the Royal Constellation. In the constellation
of Leo, Jupiter, the king of the planets circles around Regulus king of the stars, as if crowning a king. Jupiter first conjunction with Regulus,
the star of kingship, the brightest star in the constellation Leo, the Lion, the constellation of
kings, was associated with the Lion of Judah. The magi searched for further signs, and found
them, in the triple conjunction of Jupiter with Regulus, plus the double conjunction of Jupiter and
Venus, between August 03 B.C. and May 02 B.C., and more. Third: In the meantime, Venus migrates from the constellation of Leo to the constellation
of Virgo. That year, the sun was in
the sign of Virgo for 20 days between August 27th and September 11th 03 B.C.
Venus then appears to arise clothed in the sun with
the moon at her feet on September 11th of 03 B.C. But only for about an hour and a half at sunrise, during that time was the moon under the feet
of Virgo. The last book of the New Testament is, in part, a prophetic enigma. A portion of the Book of Revelation
Chapter 12 provides clear and compelling guidance for our astronomical investigation. The
apostle John wrote the book Revelation full of star imagery. In Chapter 12, John describes a life
and death drama played out in the sky: the birth of a king; as Jesus was born on or near mid to late September 11-18, 03 B.C. per Luke 1 and 2.
Rev. 12: 1-5
1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a
crown of twelve stars on her head. 2
She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten
horns and seven crowns on his heads. 4 His tail swept a third
of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth,
so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.
5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron sceptre...
A woman in labor, a dragon bent on infanticide and a ruler of the nations. We have
already seen this ruler in the Book of Genesis, above. This would be the Messiah, in his role as King of Kings. If
that interpretation is correct, then according to the gospel story the woman would be Mary, the mother of Jesus. The dragon
which waits to kill the child at birth would be Herod, who did that very thing. John says the woman he saw was clothed
in the Sun. She had the moon at her feet. What can he be describing?
September 11, of 3 B.C., the mystery of John's vision is unlocked. He is describing more of the starry dance which began with
the Jewish New Year on September 11th 03 B.C. The Jewish New Year starts on the Feast of
Trumpets at the first sighting of a new moon, in the 7th biblical month called Tishri;
our September. As Jupiter was beginning the (the first
of three conjunctions) coronation of Regulus in September 11, 03 B.C. to May 8, 02 B.C., another startling symbol rose in the sky: The constellation which rises in the
east behind Leo is Virgo, the Virgin. When Jupiter and
Venus first met in Leo on August 12, 03 B.C., Venus then migrated to Virgo and rose on 9-11-03 B.C., clothed in the Sun.
And as John said, the moon was at her feet. It was a new moon, symbolically birthed
at the feet of The Virgin (the constellation Virgo). Notice the combination of events occurring on 9-11-03 B.C.:
The Feast of Trumpets on a new moon Jupiter and Regulus
conjoin to formulate a rare brilliant star. Venus
rises clothed in the sun with moon at her feet on the new moon
in Virgo. Jesus’ Birthday
! The sheer concentration of symbolism in the stars
at this moment is remarkable. These things could certainly lead our magi to conclude that a Jewish king had been born. But
even this is not the whole story. These symbols could indicate a birth.

The
Jewish nation is composed of twelve ancient tribes. Jewish prophecy states that a particular tribe will bring forth the Messiah:
the tribe of Judah. The symbol of Judah's tribe
is the lion. You can see these connections in an ancient prediction of Messiah's coming found in
the first book of the Bible, the Book of Genesis, Chapter
49:9-10. 9
You are a lion's cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a
lioness-- who dares to rouse him? 10 The sceptre will not depart from Judah,
nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs, and the obedience of the nations
is his. This association of Messiah with the tribe of Judah and with the lion is a productive clue. It clarifies the connection between Jupiter's
behavior and the Jewish nation, because the starry coronation—the triple conjunction—occurred within the constellation
of Leo, The Lion. Ancient stargazers, particularly if they were interested in things Jewish, may well
have concluded they were seeing signs of a Jewish king. But there is more. ===============
Fourth: Then Jupiter in Leo,
with Venus in Virgo, and a new moon align on September 25th 03 B.C.
Fifth: On
December 1, 3 B.C., Jupiter stopped its motion through the fixed stars and began its annual “retrograde” motion. In doing
so, it once again headed toward Regulus. ==============
2 B.C. Events Conjunctions
Sixth: Jupiter’s and Regulus’ (#2 of 3) conjunction occurred in Leo on February 17, 2 B.C. (3:40 a.m.),
Seventh: Jupiter’s and Regulus’
(#3 of 3) conjunction occurred again in Leo on May 8th 2 B.C. at (7:10 a.m.) It appeared
as though the King Planet was circling over and around Regulus, the King Star, “homing in” on it with a tighter
circle, as if pointing out the significance of the King Star, as it related to the King Planet. This circular movement of
Jupiter over Regulus would, in all probability, have signaled that a great king was then destined to appear.
Matthew in the King James Version has the Magi saying “we have seen his star in the East”.
A more accurate translation is “we have seen his star at its rising”. “… Where is He that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star
in the east, and are come to worship Him.” Matthew
2:2 Eighth: The constellation which rises in the East behind Leo is Virgo, the Virgin. Since their first conjunction in August 12, 03 B.C., Jupiter and Venus form their 2nd conjunction
(#2 of 3) in Virgo on June 17, 2 B.C. Venus then seems to travel further into the constellation of Virgo. Venus again
appears to arise clothed in the sun with the moon at her feet in the constellation of Virgo, the virgin, just as was revealed
to the apostle John (Rev.12:1-5). Finally, On June
17, 2 B.C. Venus and Jupiter joined again; this time in the constellation Virgo.
The two planets were at best 6” (arc seconds) apart. In fact, some calculations indicate that they
actually overlapped each other. This conjunction occurred during the evening and would have appeared
as one very bright star. Even if they were 6” apart, it would have required the sharpest of eyes
to distinguish each of the two, because of their brightness. This exceptionally rare event could not have been missed
by the magi. The conjunction would have only been visible for a short
time (1.5 hours) at sunrise. It is quite possible that this conjunction was what brought the Magi to Jerusalem. This conjunction
then seemed to travel west and to set in the rays of the sun, in the direction of Judea. By June 17, 2 B.C., Jupiter had finished crowning Regulus (May 8, 02 BC). The Planet of Kings traveled on through the star
field toward another spectacular rendezvous, this time with Venus, the Mother Planet in Virgo. This conjunction was so close and so bright that it is today displayed in hundreds of planetaria
around the world by scientists who may know nothing of Messiah. They do it because what Jupiter did makes
such a great planetarium show. Jupiter
actually appeared to join Venus. The planets could not be distinguished with the naked eye. If
our magus had had a telescope, he could have seen that the planets sat one atop the other, like a figure eight. Each contributed
its full brightness to what became the most brilliant star these men had ever seen. Jupiter completed this step of the starry
dance as it was setting in the west. That evening, our Babylonian magi would have seen the spectacle of his career while
facing toward Judea. Ninth:
An alignment of Jupiter, Mars, Venus , Mercury, the Sun and the Moon occurred in Leo
on August 27th, 2 B.C. This was a close grouping, or massing, of the
planets and the moon at one hour seem to point to Bethlehem when viewed from Jerusalem.
Alignment view is due to the coincidence that both Jerusalem and Bethlehem are at the same azimuth
of degrees SSW; as are the planets from true north. It is fascinating that this also occurred in
the constellation Leo. Photo is a computer image by an eastern view from Jerusalem, On 8/27/02 B.C.: During this time, the alignment of Jupiter, Mars, Venus , Mercury, the Sun and the Moon occurred in
Leo on August 27th, 02 B.C. as they pointed toward BETHLEHEM,
just days from Jesus’ 1st birthday!
However this occurred during the day. Nevertheless, they were visible at sunrise,
and the Magi were able to determine when they would align with Bethlehem, just as the Scriptures had foretold !
PHOTO

Tenth: The “star” they followed was the planet Jupiter, the King
Planet. It had gone through its retrograde motion and appeared to stand still on precisely December
25, 2 B.C. in the southern sky. This occurred exactly two years after Jesus’
conception; according to the book of Luke chapters 1 and 2, and Leviticus “Feasts of the Lord”.
See greater
detail in Jesus’ Birthday and Hanukkah web pages. From Jerusalem it would appear that Jupiter had come to rest directly over
Bethlehem, just 5 miles SSE of Jerusalem. It remained there for
nearly six days. Furthermore, being near the Winter Solstice, the sun was also “standing
still” and to add to the symbolic significance, it was stationary in the center, or perhaps “womb”,
of the constellation Virgo. ==============
Jupiter comes to Leo's star
Regulus every 12 years. During the final 2-year period of each 12-year cycle, Jupiter circles Regulus.
Jupiter does two conjunctions with Regulus in 83 years. Each 83-year period is divided into 7 cycles
of 12 years. Therefore, a complete 581-year series of cycles is comprised of seven 83-year cycles,
each of which comprise seven 12-year cycles, i.e. 7x (7x12) = 581. Jesus was born during the seventh 83-year cycle and on the seventh cycle of Jupiter’s seven 83-year cycles.
This also happened to be on the seventh month of the Jewish calendar, near the Seventh Feast of the Lord
per Lev. 23 and Luke 1-2. See greater detail in Jesus’ Birth Day web page. Furthermore, it is very possible that Jesus may have been circumcised near the Feast of Tabernacles when Jesus, 33 years later, would proclaim Himself to be the Light of the World Who would provide “Living
Water” to all those who would believe in Him. See ‘Elohim’ website page. The planets move against the field of fixed stars. From
Earth, they appear to be "active." For example, were you to watch Jupiter each night for several
weeks, you would see that it moves eastward through the starry field. Each night Jupiter rises in the
east (satisfying a second Star qualification). Each night it appears to be slightly farther east in the
field of fixed stars. All of the planets move like this. But the wandering stars
exhibit another, stranger motion. Periodically, they appear to reverse course and move backward
through the other stars (retrograde motion). This may seem odd, but the reason is
simple enough: we watch the planets from a moving platform—Earth—hurtling around the Sun in its own orbit.
To illustrate this, when you pass a car on the freeway, it appears to go backward as it drops behind.
For similar reasons, when the Earth in its orbit swings past another planet, that planet appears to move backward against
the starry field. Astronomers call this optical effect retrograde motion.
In
03 and 02 B.C., Jupiter's retrograde wandering (reversed direction of movement) would have called for
our magus' full attention. After Jupiter and Regulus had their kingly encounter, Jupiter continued
on its path through the star field; but then it entered retrograde. It "changed its mind"
and headed back to Regulus for a second conjunction. After this second pass, it reversed course again for
yet a third rendezvous with Regulus, a triple conjunction. A triple pass like this
is even rarer. Over a period of months, our watching magus would have seen the Planet of Kings dance
out a halo above the Star of Kings - a coronation. The problem with a planet stopping is not what you might think. It isn’t that planets can't
stop; just the opposite. The problem is that all planets are always stopped to the eye of a human
observer. The sky moves above Earth at half the speed of the hour hand on a common clock. Its
movement is imperceptible to the naked eye. So, if all stars are always stopped, what could Matthew have
meant? To qualify as the Star, Jupiter would have to have been ahead of the Magi as they trekked
west from Jerusalem to Bethlehem. Sure enough, in December of 22 B.C. if the Magi looked
south in the wee hours, there hung the Planet of Kings over the city of Messiah's birth. ====================
On December 25 of 2 B.C. Jupiter did stop in the constellation of Virgo
as it entered retrograde, Jupiter reached full stop in its travel through the fixed stars. Magi viewing from Jerusalem would have seen it stopped in the sky for 6 days
above the little town of Bethlehem. But this is only the beginning. ===========================================
JUPITER – CYCLES VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaKqpopQXOQ&feature=related =========================================== Regulus
Shining
brightly in the constellation Leo is a fast-spinning star that shoots through the cosmos like an extra-wide bullet,
perplexing astronomers as it moves through space in the same direction as its polar axis. Researchers have long known
that Regulus, the brightest star in Leo, spins much faster than the Sun, but new observations with an array of telescopes
pinned down the star's odd motion and a host of other characteristics. "We don't have any idea why it's
really doing that," said Georgia State University astronomer Hal McAlister, who led the study of the star at the
university's Center for High Angular Resolution (CHARA). "The picture makes me wonder what it would be like to be
in a solar system with this type of star." Regulus' axis is tilted about 86 degrees, presenting astronomers on Earth with
an askew view of the star. Using the CHARA array of telescopes atop California's Mount Wilson, McAlister and his team were able to make the first observations
of how Regulus is shaped by its high-speed rotation: 700,000 miles (1.1 million kilometers) an hour spin at
its equator. With such a high rate of rotation -- the Sun, for comparison, has an equatorial spin of
about 4,500 miles (7,242 kilometers) an hour -- Regulus bulges out at the center to a diameter about 4.2 times that of
Earth's home star. If Regulus spun just 10 percent faster it would rip itself apart, but that's not likely, researchers
said. "There's nothing that we know of that can speed this star up," McAlister told SPACE.com.
Although
Regulus shines about 350 times brighter than the Sun, it burns hotter at its poles (15,100 degrees Celsius) than at the
equator (10,000 degrees Celsius), where the pull of gravity is diminished by the star's distorted shape which in turn
lowers the temperature, researchers said, adding that the poles shine five times brighter than the equator.
This article is part of SPACE.com's weekly Mystery
Monday series. ========================================= “The
Heavens Declare the Glory of God” Prophecy Confirmed Ps.
19:1 According to the book of Luke chapters 1 & 2 and Leviticus chapter 23,
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the 6th month (December) of Elizabeth’s pregnancy (Luke
1:36), during which period the Feast of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights is held. This feast is
also celebrated on the 25th day of Kislev. Jesus’ birthday, therefore, would have been
9 months later in September, during the 7th biblical month called Tishri (September), during which
the Feasts of Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles are celebrated. However, according to Daniel 9:24-25,
who prophesied that from the order to restore and rebuilt Jerusalem until the coming of Messiah the Prince
would be 69 periods of seven or 483 prophetic years (360 days per year). This order was given to Nehemiah by King Artexerxes
in 445 B.C. in the first biblical month called Nissan (March/April). 483 prophetic years
translates to 173,883 days at 360 days per year according to Daniel 7:25, 12:7 and Revelation
11:2. Applying 173,883 days to a biblical lunar year of 354 days per year, according to the Feasts
of the Lord, equates to an endpoint of the 6th day of the third month in 30 A.D.
Coincidentally, the 6th day of the 3rd month is Pentecost. Given that Jesus was crucified
on the eve of Passover (March/April) in 30 A.D., Jesus would therefore have been born in the month of September of 03 B.C.
Consequently,
the cosmic signs described herein are Announcing the Birth of a King beginning at the approximate time of
Jesus’ birth in September 03 B.C.; for a 17-month period unto December of 02 B.C. This infers that the magi were becoming more convinced as time progressed that the cosmic events were
continuing to proclaim (not foretell) the birth of a King. They therefore
followed these cosmic signs to the town of Bethlehem in the land of Judea, as Scripture had prophesied. Because these events occurred over a 17-month period, from August, 03 BC to Dec. 02
BC, Jesus therefore would have been “a young child” [Greek paidion, not a baby! see quotation of Matt. 2:7-11
below], somewhere between one to two years old by the time the magi were convinced of the cosmic signs and completed
their journey to Bethlehem from the east, possibly Babylon. Matthew, in the King James
Version, has the Magi saying “we have seen His star in the East”. A more accurate translation
is “we have seen His star at its rising”. “… Where is
He that is born King of the Jews?
For we have seen His star in the east,
and are come to worship Him.” Matthew 2:2 Note:
The celestial events are proclaiming / confirming fulfillment of prophetic events that have occurred
(past tense), not foretelling any future phenomena. “Then Herod, when
he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And
he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found
Him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed;
and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child
was. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before
them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they had heard the king,
they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young
child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when
they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped
him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.” Matt.
2:7-11 This inherently infers that Jesus is already born. Furthermore, Herod
…. “…slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof,
from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men..”
Matt. 2:16-18 That year, the sun was in the constellation of Virgo for 20 days between August 27th
and September 15th of 03 B.C., but only for about an hour and a half; and during that time, the
moon was under the feet of Virgo 9-15-03 BC, very possibly at the time of Jesus’ birth.
The constellation
which rises in the East behind Leo is Virgo, the Virgin. As Jupiter and Regulus were meeting, the constellations
of Leo & Virgo traveled to the West. Virgo then appeared to arise clothed in the sun with the
moon at her feet. It happened exactly when the Feast of Trumpets began on 9-15-03.
This was most likely the exact time that Mary began to be in labor according to Rev. 12, giving birth to the Messiah
while the watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem announced the New Moon and the shofars were blowing announcing the coming of
a new King. ===================== These combined events & Scripture
Confirm Jesus’ Birth in September of 03 B.C. See Jesus’ Birthday web page. =====================
COSMIC SIGNS and PROPHECY Cosmic signs are only one part of the evidence that indicated the coming of the Messiah at His first coming and also applies to Jesus’
Second coming. This Second Coming of the Lord
is related typologically to the Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement. This is a period of
a call to repentance, during which increasing tribulation will occur, culminating with deliverance of believers and God’s
wrath upon the unrepentant. As Joel and Acts proclaim: “The
sun and moon will turn dark, and the stars will fall from heaven; before
the great and dreadful Day of the Lord and His great wrath.” However, Jesus also
stated that He would deliver us from that wrath at His Second Coming. Having
seen this cosmic sign, Jesus said, “Then they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory. And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet and they shall
gather together His elect from the four winds from one end of Heaven to the other”, Matt. 24:5-31.
See: JESUS’ BIRTHDAY HANUKKAH FEAST of TRUMPETS FEAST of TABERNACLES ============================================= THE
STARS DECLARE HIS GLORY God created the stars, which include the planets, to serve as signs.
"And God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let
them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years.'" (Gen 1:4) Psalm 19:1-4
says, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth
speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where
their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
Before the Bible was written, God had already written the Gospel story in the stars. Well-known Radio Bible Teacher
Dr. D. James Kennedy writes in his book The Real Meaning of the Zodiac that scientists are amazed to find that every
civilization in history, no matter how far back in time they go, has always referred to the same constellation of the stars.
The only reasonable explanation for this is that God taught Adam the meaning behind the stars, which was then handed down
to succeeding generations. The Book of Job, considered by many to be the oldest book in the Bible,
as well as the Book of Amos mention several star constellations by name. The Gospel message is
clearly seen in the Zodiac, beginning with the constellation of Virgo, the virgin, and ending with
Leo, the King. This message was later perverted in Babylon into the reading of horoscopes to predict future events, which
God strictly condemns as demonic, occult practice. "The prophet Daniel was however at one time the chief of the magi in Babylon. Most certainly he
taught these magi the truths about the stars, which is the reason for some of them coming to Jerusalem to search for the Messiah
when He was born. After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from
the east came to Jerusalem and asked, 'Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.'" (Mt 2:1-2)
Three Bible passages with Messianic prophecies give us the explanation about the star of "the one"
king of the Jews, the Messiah that the magi had seen. The first passage is Numbers 24: 17-19. "I
see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out
of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth.
Edom will be conquered; Seir, his enemy, will be conquered, but Israel will grow strong. A ruler will come out of Jacob
and destroy the survivors of the city." The second Messianic passage is Genesis 49:8-10.
"Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father's sons will
bow down to you. You are a lion's cub, O Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he
crouches and lies down, like a lioness-who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor
the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is his."
The third is Psalm 110:1-4. "The LORD says to my Lord: 'Sit at my right
hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.' The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will
rule in the midst of your enemies. The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest
forever, in the order of Melchizedek.'" We see in Numbers 24, that a star,
also called a scepter, will come out from Jacob. In Genesis 49 we see that this scepter is narrowed down to come out from
the tribe of Judah, who is called a lion and in Psalm 110 we see that the Messiah will come after the order of Melchizedek,
meaning "King of Righteousness." Jupiter, called Zedek in Hebrew and meaning 'righteous', has always been
connected with the Messiah, the "Righteous One." The brightest star in Leo,
the Lion, which is a symbol for Judah, is Regiel, which means 'king"
or Melech in Hebrew. The Magi said, "We saw his star in the east." With
the help of modern computers it is very easy today to calculate the exact positions of the stars thousands of years back in
time. What used to take years to calculate is today available with the click of a mouse if you have access to the right program.
On September 12, on the Feast of Trumpets, in the year 3 BC, Regiel (Melech) and Jupiter (Zedek),
began to make a helical rising together as one star, forming Melchizedek appearing between the feet of Leo (Judah), on the
eastern horizon just before sunrise. This helical rising of
Regiel and Jupiter happens once in about 80 years. However, within one year it happened two more times, in connection with
Feasts of Purim and Shavuot (Pentecost). But something else also happened in the heavens that night of the Feast
of Trumpets, 3 BC. Between 6:18 and 7:39 local Jerusalem time, in the evening of September 11, just as the Feast
began, Virgo was "clothed in the sun" with the new moon under her feet, exactly as described in Revelation 12:1-5.
The prophetic imagery in Revelation 12 is that of a male child being born to rule the nations. It pictures the dragon
(Satan) attempting to destroy the child. The man child, who is Christ, is "caught up to the throne of God." Afterwards,
Satan sets his attention towards a remnant of believers. "A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed
with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain
as she was about to give birth. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter."
That year the sun was in the sign of Virgo for twenty days, between August 27 and September 15,
but only for about one and a half hour; during that time was the moon under the feet of Virgo.
It happened near the Feast
of Trumpets. This was most likely the exact time that Mary was in labor according to Revelation 12, giving birth to the
Messiah while the watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem announced
the new moon and the shofars were blowing! Little did they know what had just taken place a couple of miles away.
Later on that night, on September 12, Regiel and Jupiter began their helical rising before dawn announcing that the King of
the Jews was born. The arrival of a king is
usually announced with trumpets. It is amazing how exactly in detail God fulfills His Word! What an awesome God we serve! Truly "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies
proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge." (Ps
19:1-2) Cosmic signs are only one part of the evidence
that indicates we are in the time of the end. Here is even more information declaring the wonders of our God.
If Yeshua was born on 3 BC, He would have
been conceived by the Holy Spirit 38 weeks earlier around December, 4 BC near Hanukkah. The Light of the World became flesh Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. Hanukkah is then
a very appropriate time to thank God for sending His Son to us as the Light of the world! See the following web pages for greater celestial details: Jesus’ Birthday

The Star Of Bethlehem God’s Covenant People and Prophecy
=============================================
The principals of Astrophysics, Mathematics and Astronomy all point towards much more
than a mathematical perfection. Daniel, I believe, was possibly one who would be considered a ‘magi’, or a wise
man, who studied the stars. Psalm 19:1 states "the heavens declare His glory".
The magi interpreted Jupiter, the king of planets, as aligning with Regalus, the king of stars, and Venus, merging to become
brighter in the sky. This phenomenon occurs every 12 years. So over a 50-year career of a magi, they may have observed this
phenomenon twice. In and of itself, this may have meant nothing, but gains greater significance when considered in conjunction
with Daniel’s 9:24-27 prophecy and other Scripture such as: The Messiah being
born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2), the association of Messiah with the tribe of Judah (Leo) and the triple conjunction within
the constellation of Leo, followed by the constellation of Virgo (Virgin) and Jupiter appearing to join with Venus appearing
to crown the new moon (announcing a new King), and probably many other factors demonstrate an anticipation of the King’s
birth with Messiah the King in Bethlehem. The
King is Coming ! Scripture states “the heavens declare
His glory”. The magi interpreted Jupiter, the king of planets, aligning with Regulus, the king of stars, and Venus,
merging to become brighter in the sky. The magi presumably described the timing of events in 3 B.C. continuing through
2 B.C. as documented by Josephus regarding the reign of Herod until 2 B.C. This combined with the 69
periods of seven prophesied by Dan. 9:24-25, equals 173,883 days based upon a 360-day prophetic year as noted in Daniel chapter
12. With the 173,883 days applied to the biblical lunar calendar according to the Feasts of the Lord (God’s calendar
of redemption), completed on Sivan 6, the Feast of Pentecost/gift of His Spirit until He returns – means prophecy was
fulfilled. See DANIEL 9: 24-27 PROPHECY Note: Jesus’ ascension was on the 40th day between Passover and Pentecost (i.e. one 40-year generation)
leaving 10 days (Trumpets to Atonement) for the completion of His work; culminating on start of “The Year Of Jubilee”.
In other words, the 50 days from Passover to Pentecost, broken by the 40 days leaving 10 days, are typological foreshadowings
of the 50-year Jubilee period. The “Year of Jubilee” is made up of 7 periods of seven, with
the last 7-years being the Tribulation Period, prior to the Year of Jubilee. The ‘Year of Jubilee’
is also comprised of a 40-year generation plus 10 years of repentance, i.e. the period between the Feast of Trumpets and the
Feast of Atonement, culminating with the year of Jubilee, where all things that are God’s get returned to God, i.e.
the 100-year millennial reign. The 7 Feasts of the Lord are God’s calendar (‘Appointed Times”) to redeem mankind. They
outline God’s redemptive plan for mankind; initially with Messiah’s first coming as a topological foreshadowing
in the Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread and First Fruits (Easter) and Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). Then the Feasts
of Trumpets and Atonement foreshadow His Return for a period of repentance prior to judgment: between the Feasts of Trumpets
and Atonement, followed immediately by the year of Jubilee aka Millennium, aka the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, during which
time the Scripture states that Satan is locked up for 1000 years, then to be released for a 2nd Gog-Magog battle
after which the Great White Throne judgment occurs to be finalized with the Feast of Tabernacles. The Hebrew word translated "Feasts” means ‘Solemn Appointed Times’,
such as the fulfilled prophecies and typologies related to the first 4 “Appointed Times” with God during
the feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits aka Easter, and the Feast of Weeks aka Pentecost. Eschatology is the theological term used, for the study of prophecy, as related to these last 3 feasts of “Appointed Times with God”.
As a "Watchman" is called to "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord", and sees the storm coming, he blows the
Trumpet of warning for those who have ears to hear, for the set time has come: Feast of Trumpets the 5th “Appointed Time” with God initiates the 10-day
/ year period of time for repentance between the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Atonement, Judgment. This 10-day / year
period is called the “Days of Awe” and includes the 7th Sabbatical Year of 7-years unto Jubilee
called the 7-year “Tribulation Period” as part of this 10-year “End of the Age” period call for repentance
before Judgment. Feast of Atonement aka Judgment, the 6th “Appointed Time” with God, culminates
immediately on the next day with the “Year of Jubilee”, aka the “Millennial Kingdom.
At this time everything is required to be returned to it’s original owner, i.e. God; Elohim.
The Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement / Judgment are on the 1st and 10th
day, of the seventh month called Tishri. Jubilee commences on the 11th day
of Tishri. The 10-day correlation between Jesus’ ascension
prior to the Feast of Pentecost
with the 10 days between the Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement are significant in their culmination of biblical events.
As the events of Jesus’ first coming culminate with the gift of the Holy Spirit at the Feast
of Pentecost, so do the events typologically represented by the Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement at Jesus’ Second Coming
culminate with the year of Jubilee (aka Millennial Kingdom). On the 40th
day after His resurrection, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit; then He ascended into Heaven. It is significant
that 10 days later, this promise was fulfilled on the 50th day after His resurrection; i.e. Pentecost.
The year of Jubilee is related to Jesus’ Second Coming as Pentecost was associated with His
first coming. Essentially Pentecost
was a typological foreshadowing of the year of Jubilee.
The Feast of Weeks / Pentecost, the 4th and last feast Jesus fulfilled at His 1st
coming, is celebrated 50 days after Passover, on the 6th day of Sivan. Pentecost / Feast of Weeks is seven weeks of 7 days plus one day after the Feast of Passover. The year of Jubilee
is in years to what Pentecost is in days, i.e. 7 sabbatical years of 7 years plus one year; culminates at the year of Jubilee.
Feast of Tabernacles the 7th “Appointed Time” with God The Feasts and Sabbaths are called "Holy Convocations" in Scripture. That is to say, they are intended to be times of meeting between God and man for "Holy Purposes".
Each Feast is also a Sabbath, reminding us of our call to a "PURSUIT of HOLINESS" and restoration of a personal relationship with God. If you
turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your own pleasure on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight,
the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own
pleasure, nor speaking your own words: Then shall you delight
yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage
of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. Isa. 58:13-14. To fully
understand the Feasts, one must first understand the full meaning and implications of the Sabbath as a time of oneness with God. See: SABBATH file link The Feast of Tabernacles becomes the ultimate oneness of meeting with God to “tabernacle” / dwell with God for eternity, thus the absolute
necessity to “pursue holiness”. “… regarding
a Festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come …” Col. 2:16-17

Rev. 19 The bride
has prepared herself, becoming pure & holy for her bridegroom.
“…for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready." Revelation 19:7 To understand
the Jubilee Year, one must first be familiar with the Sabbatical Year, which is observed every seventh year (Ex. 23:11; Lev. 25:20; Deut. 15:9; Neh. 10:31). The Sabbatical Year is also known as the Year of Release, because farming and debt payments were released (discontinued)
for the year (Deut. 15:1-2; 31:10); initiated at the closing of the Feast of Atonement.
Jubilee’s timing was to years (50) what the timing of Feast of Weeks (Shavuot / Pentecost)
is to days (50). The Feast of Weeks (Shavuot / Pentecost) occurs on the 50th day; the day after seven
weeks, plus 1 day after Passover. The Jubilee Year occurs every 50th year; the year after seven Sabbatical
years (49 years) Lev. 25:8-11.
The Year of Jubilee begins at the end of 7 Sabbatical years of 7 years, and at the end of
the Feast of Atonement / Yom Kippur, Lev. 25:9. Jewish historian, Josephus, believed that the word
denoted ‘liberty’ (Antiquities of the Jews 3.12.3). Scripture
lists three requirements for the Year of Jubilee: - First,
the shofar (ram’s horn) was to be blown at the end of the Feast of Atonement / Yom Kippur to announce that
the Jubilee Year had commenced Lev. 25:9.
- Second, all hired workers were to be set free Lev. 25:39-54. This was unconditional liberty. All bond-slaves were released even if
the Jubilee Year came before the completion of their six years of service.
- Third, all land was to be
returned to its original owner Lev. 25:13, 23-28.
The primary reason for the Jubilee Year was to prevent oppression in Israel, Lev. 25:14, 17. An Israelite could hire himself into the service of another
to retire a debt, but he had no right to sell himself or his family forever into slavery. The Lord alone owned the sons
of Israel since He had redeemed them out of Egypt, Lev. 25:42, 55. In similar fashion, an Israelite could lease his land for a term of years, but he had no right to permanently
sell his tribal inheritance. The Lord alone owned the land of Israel, Lev. 25:23. God, as Sovereign King of the universe, owned the people and the land.
The Jubilee Year, initiated at the close of the Feast of Atonement, looks to the restoration of
Israel by the Messiah, and to the resulting messianic Kingdom of peace. Daniel
prophesied that a Gentile oppression would become unbelievably severe at the end of this age. A wicked Gentile ruler
will arise and “he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods”
Dan. 11:36. This ruler will bring terrible
persecution upon Israel: “A time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered” Dan. 12:1. When Messiah
comes, He will break the chains of Israel’s oppression. But this deliverance will come only when the nation has
first repented of her sin. The nation must repent (Feast of Atonement / Yom Kippur) before the shofar will sound
the release of her captivity (the Jubilee Year). In Messiah’s
glorious day, Israel will return to the Lord and, subsequently, will no longer be bond slaves of the nations, but the redeemed
servants of the Living God. Israel’s oppression will be ended! When
Messiah comes, the great shofar will be blown, and the exiles of Israel will be regathered to their land. “So
it shall be in that day: The great trumpet / shofar will be blown; They will come, who are about to perish in the land of
Assyria, and they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem“
Isaiah 27:13. In that day, satan will be banished (Ezek. 28:2,8,13-19), and the rebellion of wicked men will be crushed Ps.2:9. In that day, the sons of Israel “shall trust in the name of the LORD” (Zeph.3:12)
and “walk in the name of the LORD our God
Forever and ever” Micah 4:5. And in
that day Messiah shall establish the throne of David and the messianic Kingdom “even forever” Isaiah 9:7. Finally, in Messiah’s glorious day, there will be Jubilee rest for the land and freedom for God’s people. Everyone shall sit “under his vine and under his fig tree. For the mouth of
the LORD of hosts has spoken” Micah 4:4. The Feasts of Trumpets and Atonement / Judgment are on the 1st and 10th
day, of the seventh month called Tishri. Jubilee commences on the 11th day of Tishri. The 10-day correlation between
Jesus’ ascension prior to the Feast of Pentecost with the 10 days between the Feasts of Trumpets
and Atonement are significant in their culmination of biblical events. As the events
of Jesus’ first coming culminate with the gift of the Holy Spirit at the Feast of Pentecost, so do the events typologically

ALL
of scripture is built upon the foundation of God's redemptive plan, as
outlined
in the 7 Feasts Of The Lord, per Leviticus 23: From
the promise of Abraham to Isaac on Mount Moriah, in Gen. 22:8, that God Himself would provide a lamb (Jesus at Passover
/ Redemption). To Jesus’ Resurrection on the Feast of First Fruits, then
the Holy Spirit sent on Feast of Weeks. To Jesus second coming, Judgment & Kingdom as prophesied in feasts
of Trumpets & Atonement, to Rev. 22 where we dwell (Tabernacle) at the throne of God with the Lamb of God, in
a temple made without hands, eternal in the heavens. The presentation of combining astrophysics, astronomy and Biblical
prophecy was an attempt to draw people into an interest in the things of God by associating similar prophetic events occurring
today. I find that people get all excited about such nonsense as the blood-red moon eclipses and the Mayan doomsday predictions,
but take little to no interest in the miracle of God's prophecies being fulfilled in our life time. So,
by demonstrating the orchestration of the universe which proclaims His glory in ways that the enabled the magi to interpret
the stars at the time of Jesus' birth, I hope to at least initiate some interest in God's word. Jesus
called the Pharisees hypocrites because they were able to discern the signs of the seasons, but not the signs of His coming
as proclaimed in Scripture. This is the real issue that I'm trying to draw attention to: The King is Coming!
Granted I understand how hard it is to believe God's Word as being completed in our day. The simple profoundness
of it all I think is overwhelming to many, and they would just rather not think about it, as an escape from facing such issues.
But Abraham walked by faith, believing in the God Who would complete what He initiated. This is also why I have
come to realize that the faithful remnant Israel (144,000) are indeed a small remnant who believe in the fulfillment of God's
prophetic Word.
