| 1948 +70 = 2018 - 7 = 2011 Jesus continues to say that “No One Knows the
Day or Hour” of His coming. However, Jesus rebuked those who did not anticipate the “Season of His
Coming”: Jesus said to the Pharisees: “… Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of
the sky, but you cannot discern the Signs of the Times” (Mth.16:3). Jesus responded clearly as recorded in Mth.24:5-31. The Apostles asked Jesus: “ Tell us WHEN shall these things be? And WHAT
shall be the SIGN of Your Coming, and end of the world? Just as the 5 wise virgins & 5foolish virgins & the bride do not know,
the day or hour, of her bride groom’s coming to take her away, they DID knew the ‘season’ of His
coming. Some like the Magi, Nicodemus,
Joseph of Arimathea and most of the Apostles DID recognize the SEASON of Jesus coming as prophesied in Scripture.
It is extremely profound to realize that there
would have been NO redemptive plan for mankind - if God had not instituted the 7 Feasts of the Lord, according to
Leviticus 23.
7 feasts are the foundation upon which ALL of Scripture
is built upon. Effectively without the concept of redemption represented by the feasts, there would have been no theological
foundational development for the entire Bible. These 7 feasts outline God's redemptive plan for both Jesus' 1st and 2nd coming. The first 4 Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits (Easter) and
Pentecost were completed at Jesus 1stcoming. The last 3 feasts of Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles are a continuation of God’s
redemptive plan, through His “appointed times” yet to be completed. |
