FEAST  OF  TRUMPETS  -  Part  I

    FEAST OF TRUMPETS  INTRODUCTORY  DATA:  
 

Generation +  Repentance  =  Jubilee on 50th year:
    Note:     40      +    10             =    50
     

     Jubilee:  7    x      7  +  1      =    50
     7 Sabbatical periods of 7 years each plus Jubilee

Note significance of 
Neh. 2:1-8, 17 ; City of Jerusalem restored (not the Temple Mount) to start the counting of 483 years per Dan. 9:24-27 until Messiah came on the 10th day of Nissan - 10th day of Biblical New Year; Jesus Triumphant entry... So may the counting of the last 7 year period begin per Dan. 9:24-27 ... from the capture / ability to rebuild the City of Jerusalem in 1967 to Year of Jubilee.  40 Year generation + 10 years Days of Awe (Repentance), (includes last 7 year sabbatical period) = 50 th year Jubilee; captives set free.  (See Daniel Handout)

Israel became a nation in May of 1948 + 60 years = 2008
Israel recaptured Jerusalem in 1967 + 50 = 2017 less 10 years

  Trumpets - A ram's horn (shofar) or silver trumpet:  Call Solemn Assembly,  Feast Day,  War,  New Moon,  Announce a new King  
  4 Types of shofar notes:    1) Tekiah - 3 second sustained note     2)  Shevarim - Three 1-second notes rising  
             3) Teruah - a series of short, staccato notes extending over 3 seconds     4) Tekiah Geodolah - 1 final long 10+ seconds blast  
    Mth. 24:3,15,21, 27-31 (last days) , 32-34 (generation), 40-42 (rapture)
DTL is an abbreviation "Day Of The Lord" Ex. 19:1, 13-20   God Blows Trumpet before giving the Law.  Only other place where God blows trumpet is  I Thes. 4:14-17 at His 2nd coming to judge (at feast of Atonement) according to the law. Mth. 25:31-34  (Son man come in glory, gather sheep, Inherit kingdom)
Mark 13:28-32     (fig tree, DTL near, Generation, no one knows when)
