PRELUDE: Foundational hermeneutics applied to the eschatology on this web site are as follows:
First, the prophetic foreshadowings of the ‘7 Feasts of
the Lord’ as outlined in Leviticus 23.
Secondly,
an accurate hermeneutical understanding of Dan.9:27 related to Israel’s ability to “restore
Jerusalem” as prophetic to Jesus’ return.
Thirdly, the
correct hermeneutical interpretation and application of the words ‘tribulation’
versus ‘wrath’: as applied to Mth. 24:5-31 “tribulation”, and Rev. 6 thru 7 “tribulation”;
versus Rev. 8 thru 16 “wrath”.
Fourth,
culmination to a position of ‘Pre-wrath rapture between the 6th
and 7th seal; as described in the book of Revelation chapters 6 and 7; and by Jesus in Mth. 24:5-31, and by other
supporting scripture.
Fifth, the ‘Parousia’ / ‘Coming’ of Jesus occurs only once; from His returning appearance to
gather His “elect”, thru to the ‘Millennial Kingdom’. Jesus ‘Parousia’
is initiated upon His return at the time of our ‘rapture’, extends thru the “Day of the Lord and His Wrath”
described in Revelation 8 thru 16 as the 7th seal containing the 7 trumpets and 7 bowls of ‘God’s Wrath’,
then continues thru ‘Judgment’ (Feast of Atonement) upon the unrepentant (Rev. 17 thru 18), and finally consummates
the “Marriage Supper’; in Revelation 19; the Year Of Jubilee, to rule in the ‘Millennial Kingdom’
1,000 years.
Sixth, the “End of the Age” is initiated by two prophecies being fulfilled: The first prophecy fulfilled occurred
in 1948; with the formation of Israel as “One Nation”. The second prophecy fulfilled occurred
in 1967; when Israel regained the ability to “rebuild and restore Jerusalem”.
The ‘7 Feasts of the Lord’ provide an
outline of God’s redemptive plan. The “Feasts”
are “Appointed Times” of meeting with God and represent foreshadowing events of ‘God’s Calendar
of Redeeming Grace’. The first 4 Feasts of Passover,
Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Feast of Weeks were foreshadowing prophetic events of Jesus’ first coming.
The last 3 Feasts of Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles foreshadow
Jesus’ return at the ‘End of the Age’.

DANIEL 9:24-27 Text:
Vs. 24: “70 periods of 7 are determined
upon the people and upon thy holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in
everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
Jesus'
1st Coming:
Vs 25: “Know therefore
and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven
weeks, and threescore and two (69) weeks; or 69 periods of 7’s in other versions:
the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. Vs. 26: And
after threescore and two (62) weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall
come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations
are determined.”
Jesus 2nd Coming:
Vs. 27: “And He shall confirm* the covenant: and in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and the sacrifices
to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations He shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that
determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”
Vs. 27:(Amplified) AND He (GOD) shall confirm* (strengthen) the (His) covenant (of 70 periods of 7 - upon the people & the city - Jerusalem) with many for 1 period of 7:
and in the midst of the week He (God) shall cause the sacrifice to cease (thru
His permissive will allowing the Anti-Christ’s activities to cause ‘tribulation’ (‘Peirasmos’ & ‘Thlipsis’ during seals 1-6; Rev. 6), and for the overspreading of abominations He (Antichrist) shall make it desolate, even
until the consummation (i.e. End of the Age; 7 years), and that determined (God’s ‘wrath’ ‘Ebrah’ at the 7th seal) shall be poured upon the desolate (the unrepentant at
the opening of the 7th seal in Rev. 8-16).
Tribulation:
Reference Mth. 24:8,21,29 Rev. 6:9 7:9,14
Peirasmos,
Peirasai: Tribulation
/ Trials / Temptations / to Test, to Try, to Tempt.
Thlipsis: Tribulation / Distress / Affliction
/ Persecution
“Tribulation” / ‘Peirasmos’
& ‘Thlipsis / Thlupsis’ described
in Matthew 24:5 – 29 is also concurrently described by John in Revelation chapter 6 for the first 6 seals.
The Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words by W.E. Vine combined commentary on 2 Peter 2:9 and Rev.
3:10-12 ‘Peirasmos’:
The verb is used of testing as permitted by God, and of the
believer as one who should be in the realization of his own helplessness and his dependence upon God.
The noun is used of trials with beneficial
purposes and effect, also of trials or temptations Divinely permitted or sent: i.e.
2 Peter 2:9 “to prove” or “to try” and in Rev. 3:10 “trial
or temptation”.
Wrath: Reference Rev. 6:17
Ebrah / Orges (Hebrew / Greek): Wrath / Anger / Indignation / Vengeance
Wrath translated from Hebrew word “Ebrah”
(Orges in Greek); Strong’s #5678 connotes the “overflowing fury of God”;
and is only used in conjunction with "Day of the Lord" wrath after the 7 th seal in Rev. 8 is broken, and
the scroll of God’s ‘wrath’ is opened.
“Wrath” of God / Jesus, listed
in Revelation Chapters 8 –16, is then poured out in Judgment upon the unrepentant.

*Confirm:
Regarding Dan. 9:27: “He shall confirm
the covenant” (70 periods of 7).
Confirm is from the Hebrew word “higbir” (Hiph'il form of the verb Gabar) meaning
“to confirm (a covenant), to strengthen”.
See: Hebrew / Greek Interlinear Bible
and Hebrew / Greek Lexicon
However, the New American Standard (NASB) incorrectly translates “higbir”
to the English verb: “to make” (“karat / poieo”
in Hebrew / Greek) rather; than “to confirm” or “to strengthen”.
The NASB infers there was NO pre-existing covenant “to confirm” or “to strengthen”.
This incorrect translation by the NASB literally changes Scripture, to it’s detriment. "To make" is
NOT synonymous with "to confirm".
NASB translation “to make” is used
to heretically infer the Anti-Christ “makes” a “covenant with the
people and the city of Jerusalem”, and consequently, causes major eschatological interpretation consequences!
This is Satan’s counterfeit at it’s best distorting God’s prophecy
of Jesus’ Second coming! The Pre-Tribulation interpretation uses this inaccurate translation to justify the Anti-Christ
“making” a covenant with Israel; at the beginning of the 7-year ‘tribulation’ period.
It is imperative that a correct translation ‘to confirm’ or ‘to strengthen’ God’s
covenant be applied, to show the importance of God’s continued covenant over the
full 70 periods of 7s’ period; which includes “… the CITY OF JERUSALEM”.
Only God can “confirm” or “strengthen”
HIS COVENANT with “the people and the city of Jerusalem”.
The ability of Israel to ‘restore and rebuild Jerusalem’
is integrally related to Jesus 2nd coming:
Because Daniel 9:24 states: “70-7s are determined upon the people, and upon the holy city (Jerusalem)”. The ‘confirmation’ or ‘strengthening’ of the entire covenant
of 70-7’s, includes Jerusalem!. Therefore, if Israel did not have control of the city
of Jerusalem, there could be no confirmation of a covenant with “the holy city” (Jerusalem) at the 70th
7-year period!
Dan. 9:27 states:
"And He (God) shall confirm
the (His) covenant of 70-7s with the people and the city of Jerusalem) with many for 1 period
of 7". Therefore the last 70th 7 year period is also subject
to the prophecy concerning the ability to “restore and to build Jerusalem”,
unto the Messiah the Prince.”
Therefore the ability to “restore and rebuild Jerusalem” is a key
“sign” related to both the 1st & 2nd prophecies related to Jesus’ coming!
This finally occurred in 1967 when Israel recaptured Jerusalem! Therefore the counting for the ‘season’ “until
the coming of the Messiah the Prince” still applies as a completion of God’s covenant of 70-7’s.
Therefore, the ‘season’
for the “End of the Age” is at least partially based upon Israel’s
ability to rebuild Jerusalem since it’s recapture in 1967;

CONCURANCE SUMMARY:
I concur with the ‘FeastsOfTheLord.Net’ web site foundational hermeneutics as stated. Furthermore,
I concur to the following specifics:
I concur that Israel’s
“ability to restore and rebuild Jerusalem” hermeneutically applies to second coming of the Lord eschatology as
presented on ‘FeastsOfTheLord.Net’ web site; AS OUTLINED ABOVE. See
Dan. 9:24-27 discussion above.
I concur with
the hermeneutical distinctive difference between ‘Tribulation’ and ‘Wrath’ as presented and applied
on the ‘FeastsOfTheLord.Net’ web site; AS OUTLINED ABOVE. To
wit: ‘Tribulation’ applies to the first 6 seals of Revelation Chapter 6 and as described by Jesus in Matthew 24:5-31.
‘Wrath’ applies to the contents of the 7th seal on the scroll; in Revelation Chapters
8 thru 16; listed as the 7 Trumpets of “God’s wrath”, and the 7 bowls of “God’s wrath”.
I concur that the ‘7 Feasts of the Lord’ provide an outline
of God’s redemptive plan. The “Feasts” are “Appointed Times” of meeting with
God and represent the foreshadowing of events on ‘God’s Calendar of Redeeming Grace’. The
first 4 Feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Feast of Weeks were foreshadowing prophetic events of Jesus’
first coming. The last 3 Feasts of Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles foreshadow Jesus’ return at
the ‘End of the Age’.
